This is actually the third Zero Escape game with Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors on NDS being the first game and Virtue’s Last Reward on 3DS being the second game.

The story is actually connected between the 3 games but I won’t go over that big cluster of revelations.
The series is an adventure game with “escape the room” puzzles and you have to make decisions that can alter the story to lead towards one of multiple endings.
Usually the games start with a narrative and/or dialogue between characters, followed by a puzzle to “escape” the area and then choose where to go next and repeat. Through this, the game branches out.
In this game, the story is split into several chapters called “Fragments” and the overall story is fractured in a non-linear way. You start a Fragment and when you finish it, it will tell you where and which story path that specific Fragment is placed in.

These Fragments last approximately 90 minutes in-game and the characters fall into an induced sleep and have their memories erased of that short period. The Fragments are in the perspective of three isolated teams and each team does not know the fate of the others, whether they’re alive or dead.
Although the story is very well done, the real meat of the game is the puzzles though. You get small hints but never a real solution and you have to actively seek the hidden items that will let you escape the room.

How to Install:

1. Run setup.exe and install it. Make sure to verify integrity.
