The game resemble the interface of the Dragon Ball Heroes arcade game via the touch feature. The player sets a deck of five cards for battles the enemy. Player can uses the touch stylus to create a card formation on the bottom touch screen, the battle happens on the top screen.
Players can create their character with some races: they are saiyan, majin, frieza, and Namekian.
This game has a scouter feature, which uses the Nintendo 3DS’ camera to take a Photo of someone’s face it’s used to check their power. This actions allows the player to earn Zeni as well as other items.
